Toxic: Telangana Approves Ticket Price Hike for 10 Days

Yash-starrer Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has received a ticket price hike in Telangana ahead of its theatrical release on August 26, 2026. The revised ticket rates have been approved by the Telangana government for a period of 10 days.

According to the latest Government Order, theatres can increase ticket prices by Rs. 50 in single screens and Rs. 100 in multiplexes and special theatres, with the revised rates inclusive of GST. Following the hike, tickets will be priced at Rs. 227 in single screens and Rs. 395 in multiplexes during the approved period from August 26 to September 4.

With the government clearance now in place, ticket bookings for Toxic in Telangana are expected to open shortly. The price revision is likely to benefit the film’s opening-day collections, particularly given the strong anticipation surrounding Yash’s return to theatres.

The Government Order also permits the film to have five regular shows per day. As part of the approval, producers KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations LLP have been directed to contribute Rs. 1 crore to the Telugu Film Industry Employees’ Welfare Committee Account for the welfare of cinema workers.

Theatres screening the film have also been instructed to run advertisements creating awareness about the harmful effects of narcotics, drugs and cybercrime.
