The song, originally from Bharathiraja’s film “Thanga Magan,” sung by SP Balasubrahmanyam and Vani Jairam, is copyrighted material, and its recreation without approval is deemed unlawful under the Copyright Act of 1957.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie features Rajinikanth in the role of a smuggler, adding to the anticipation surrounding the action-packed entertainer.
