After a long wait, actor Naga Shaurya’s action drama Bad Boy Karthik finally released in theatres on April 17, 2026. Unfortunately, the film arrived with minimal promotions and very little pre-release buzz, which led to it slipping under the radar during its theatrical run.
Adding to its troubles, the movie received largely negative reviews, resulting in an underwhelming performance at the box office. With its big-screen journey cut short, Bad Boy Karthik has now made a low-key entry into the digital space. The film is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video, where it will be interesting to see if it can strike a chord with OTT audiences.
Directed by debutant Ramesh Desina, the film stars Vidhi Yadav and Samuthirakani in prominent roles. It is produced by Sri Vaishnavi Films, while the music is composed by Harris Jayaraj, adding a familiar melodic touch to the action-heavy narrative.
