Tollywood producer Naga Vamsi stole the spotlight at the grand pre-release event of War 2, the highly anticipated action spy thriller starring Hrithik Roshan and NTR. The massive celebration took place in Hyderabad on Sunday evening, drawing thousands of ecstatic fans.
Speaking to the crowd, Naga Vamsi — who is presenting the film’s Telugu version — assured Tarak’s fans that director Ayan Mukerji has crafted the movie to feel like a true Telugu film.
“You will definitely love the movie. You guys scold me a lot — and you can scold me as much as you want if you don’t like War 2. But you must make sure the Telugu version collects more than the Hindi version,” he said, sparking loud cheers.
Looking at the overwhelming fan frenzy, Naga Vamsi joked that it felt like Telugu cinema was welcoming Hrithik Roshan more than sending NTR to Hindi cinema. He added, “NTR Anna has raised his collar for us many times. Now it’s our turn to make War 2 a massive blockbuster and raise our collar for him.”
Also starring Kiara Advani, War 2 is produced by Aditya Chopra under the prestigious Yash Raj Films banner. The film is set for a worldwide release on August 14, 2025.
