N. Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), strongly criticized YSRCP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. Naidu accused Reddy of causing serious problems in the irrigation system in the Rayalaseema region. He said that during Reddy’s leadership, farms in Rayalaseema didn’t receive any water for five years. Naidu also mentioned the widespread use of illegal substances like fake alcohol and drugs in villages across Rayalaseema.
Speaking at a public event called ‘Prajagalam’ in Palamaneru, Naidu talked about his plans to improve the state’s economy and help all citizens. He said that while he aims to make life better for everyone, Reddy is only interested in making himself richer. Naidu urged people to vote against the YSRCP in the upcoming elections and promised to fix electricity charges if his party, along with allies Janasena and BJP, wins.
The elections are set for May 13, with the vote count scheduled for June 4. Naidu’s TDP, along with its allies, hopes to challenge the YSRCP-led government in Andhra Pradesh.
