Nandamuri Balakrishna takes U-Turn on NTR Biopic!

If the reports are believed to be true, then Nandamuri Balakrishna is taking a ‘U-Turn’ on NTR biopic. After Balakrishna announced that he would be producing biopic film based on the legendary actor-cum-politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, the whole Telugu film industry was delighted. Balakrishna stated that Teja would be directing the film.
Within a short span of time, everyone was put into shock by Ram Gopal Varma. The controversial director soon announced that he would be directing a film titled ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’. Even before coming out of the RGV shock, Kethireddy stated that he is also directing a film on NTR’s biopic titled ‘Lakshmi Veeragrandham’. Kethireddy stated that his film would focus on the hidden lift of NTR’s second wife Lakshmi Parvathi. While RGV’s film would feature the life of NTR just before and after his marriage with Lakshmi Parvathi, and political situations at that time. A small-time producer also stated that he is producing a biopic on NTR, making it the fourth.
After realizing that it would be an unwise decision to go ahead with NTR’s biopic, Balakrishna reportedly asked director Teja to hold on for a while. Close sources to the Nandamuri hero confirmed that Balakrishna would take the film on to sets after the release of other biopic films on NTR. Currently, Balakrishna is taking part in the shooting for ‘Jayasimha’. KS Ravikumar is directing the film.
