Actually, she was on a facetime call with Rishi Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima who was stuck in Delhi and could not come right away to be with family and to be at last rites of her father. Alia Bhatt was seen holding the phone to show her Ranbir performing the Hindu funeral customs and rituals before the actual funeral of Rishi.
Riddhima tweeted later that she wished she could be there to say goodbye to her father. Riddhima shared a post for her father. It reads, “Papa I love you I will always love you – RIP my strongest warrior I will miss you every day I will miss your FaceTime calls every day! I wish I could be there to say goodbye to you ! Until we meet again papa I love you – your Mushk forever”.
She could not attend the funeral procession as there are no flights and she could not reach Mumbai in time by road travel. So the trolls need to take a break and stop judging her amid the sadness and suffering the family is going through at this moment. It is already known that Ranbir and Alia are seeing each other and were soon to get married.
Earlier, today Bollywood’s senior actor and Rishi Kapoor’s best friend Amitabh Bachchan tweeted the news out about Rishi Kapoor passing away. His tweet is so moving that it not just put the sad news out but also Amitabh’s actual feeling after knowing that Rishi is no more.
Amitabh Bachchan later deleted the tweet and wrote a heartfelt blog ‘In Memoriam’ and recalled his bonding with Rishi Kapoor. In the end of it, he wrote “I never visited him in Hospital .. I never wanted to see distress on his smiling cherubic face. But I am certain .. when he went , he must have gone with a gentle smile.”
