Tollywood actor Nithiin is gearing up for his next theatrical outing, Alias Rukmini, with hopes of delivering a strong comeback at the box office. The film has generated considerable curiosity, particularly because Natural Star Nani is backing the project as a producer. The makers have now officially announced its release date.
Alias Rukmini is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on December 4, 2026. Although the release date has been confirmed, the team has kept the name of the actress portraying the titular character, Rukmini, a secret, adding to the intrigue surrounding the film.
The latest poster presents Nithiin in a simple, relatable middle-class appearance, suggesting a character-driven story rather than the larger-than-life image often associated with commercial entertainers. This fresh look has further raised interest in the project.
Muralikanth has taken charge of both writing and direction, while Nani and Deepthi Ganta are jointly producing the film. Music composer Vijai Bulganin is responsible for the soundtrack, which is expected to be an important part of the film’s promotional campaign.
With production progressing, audiences can expect more updates about the cast, songs and other promotional activities in the coming weeks. All eyes are now on whether Alias Rukmini will help Nithiin regain his box-office momentum when it reaches theatres this December.
