The most hyped first party of NTR biopic, Kathanayakudu has almost ended its complete theatrical run. Looking at the concluding figures, the flick made its place in the Tollywood’s record book of disasters. The flick despite its popularity and craze for being the life history of Telugu Cinema’s legend NTR lacked the much-needed drama. Due to the two-part theme and short time pre-production of the makers, the flick became a disaster. Even though the movie opened up with rave reviews from print, electronic and web media, the movie lovers rejected the flick flat.
This made the producers to suffer huge losses. By the end of this Tuesday, the movie collected only 20 crores of share against its pre-release business of 71 crores thereby creating almost 50 crores of losses.The flick now only stood to the biggest flops of TFI like Spyder and Agnyaathavaasi in the third place which is never imagined by any living fan of NTR.This flick is directed by the talented maker Krish and bankrolled by Sai Korrapati along with the hero Balayya. Now all the eyes are set on the second part Makanayakudu as if it will increase the losses or would minimize them.
