The grand pre-release event of War 2, the highly anticipated pan-India action spy thriller starring Hrithik Roshan and NTR, lit up Hyderabad on Sunday evening. Thousands of fans packed the venue, giving an electrifying welcome to Tarak and Hrithik. The mega event has injected fresh momentum into War 2 ahead of its August 14, 2025, release.
During his energetic speech, NTR raised both collars — a trademark gesture — and assured his fans that War 2 will make them proud. He revealed that producer Aditya Chopra was the driving force behind his decision to sign the film, quoting him: “Your fans will be proud of War 2.”
NTR showered admiration on his co-star and idol Hrithik Roshan: “25 years ago, I only knew Michael Jackson as a dancer. But after watching Kaho Na Pyar Hai, I was blown away by Hrithik sir’s dance and performance. Hrithik sir is among the greatest actors and dancers in India.”
Speaking about Ayan Mukerji, the film’s director, NTR praised his relentless dedication, saying Ayan spent countless sleepless nights perfecting the film. He teased that War 2 contains major twists and urged fans not to reveal them after watching.
