NTV Narendra Chowdary Invests In Rangasthalam

Media personnel and Tollywood film industry share a close bond. In recent times, news channels have been playing a key role in promoting the Telugu movies. Be it audio functions, pre-release events, or any other promotions events, the Telugu News Channels have been telecasting them live.
Lately, few media barons have also ventured into financing movies. Adding to the list is NTV owner Narendra Chowdary. He has reportedly invested in Ram Charan’s ‘Rangasthalam’ movie, which has been doing exceptional business. According to close sources to the production team of Rangasthalam, Narendra Chowdary financed the project by investing over Rs 15 crores. This is the first time NTV Narendra Chowdary has ever financed/produced a Telugu film.
Given the close contacts between Mythri Movie Makers (producers of Rangasthalam), and Narendra Chowdary, the deal has been reportedly struck. The movie’s budget heaped up due to frequent delays. But the production team managed to generate exceptional pre-release business. With the movie doing exceptionally well in both domestic and international market, Narendra Chowdary is expected to receive handsome profits. Ram Charan’s and Samantha’s performances have been critically acclaimed.
