After a thunderous opening, Peddi continues its winning run at the box office. The Ram Charan starrer, which raked in a massive Rs. 135 crores gross on day one, maintained impressive momentum on its second day, with the Telugu states contributing the lion’s share of the earnings.
According to official figures, the sports action drama has amassed a worldwide gross of Rs. 181.8 crores in just two days. Day two alone brought in close to Rs. 46 crores globally, a commendable feat considering it fell on a regular working day.
The film is also witnessing a steady rise in occupancy and bookings for today, clearly indicating a strong weekend ahead. Peddi is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, with Janhvi Kapoor playing the female lead.
