Police Conduct Surprise Raid on Hidden Hookah Lounge:
The raid carried out by Inspector Mohammed Khaleel Pasha and his west zone task force team in Panjagutta targeted an illicit hookah parlor that had been flouting the law. The establishment, owned by Mohd Saleem, a resident of Sultannagar in Erragadda, was operating under the radar without a proper display board.
Moreover, this hookah parlor had raised eyebrows due to its extended operating hours, which were in violation of the regulatory guidelines. Such violations not only pose health risks but also contribute to disturbances in the local neighborhood.
During the raid, the law enforcement team not only apprehended the owner, Mr. Mohd Saleem but also found and detained 10 individuals who were on the premises, presumably as customers.
This operation serves as a reminder of the authorities’ commitment to upholding the law and ensuring that businesses comply with regulations for the safety and well-being of the community. Such crackdowns aim to deter illegal activities and promote adherence to established guidelines.
