Yes, what you read is absolutely true. West Indian batsman, Kieron Pollard becomes the first man to play 401 T20 matches. Pollard 401 became the trending hashtags on Twitter after the batsman played his 401st T20 match. There is no other player in the history of the game to play these many T20 matches. Dwayne Bravo (372) and Chris Gayle (323) are behind him.
In 401 T20 matches, Pollard played 361 innings and amassed 7,853 runs. This includes 39 50’s. As a bowler, Pollard picked 245 wickets (in 274 innings). Kieron Pollard plays for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.
