Prabhas’ upcoming period action drama Fauzi is reportedly heading for a change in its release plans. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the highly anticipated film was previously announced for a December 3, 2026 theatrical release. However, recent developments indicate that the makers may be reconsidering the date.
Several mid-range films are now targeting the first week of December, and reports suggest that the makers of Fauzi are exploring a February 2027 release instead. According to a recent media report, the final decision is expected to be taken after discussions with Netflix.
If the reported postponement goes ahead, it could also have an impact on the release plans of Prabhas’ other major project, Spirit. However, there is no official confirmation regarding a change in the release dates of either film at this point.
Fauzi features Imanvi as the female lead, with Anupam Kher, Jaya Prada, Mithun Chakraborty and Chaitra J. Achar playing important roles. Vishal Chandrasekhar is composing the music, while Mythri Movie Makers is producing the film.
An official announcement regarding the release date is expected once the makers finalise their plans.
