Prakash Raj: Kamal Hassan and Rajinikanth don’t impress me!
It looks like Prakash Raj has started in what could be the biggest controversy in the coming few months. Prakash Raj stated that he wouldn’t be voting for both Kamal Hassan and Rajinikanth in the upcoming elections. Prakash Raj, who has been very vocal in the past, has also slammed the BJP stating on Taj Mahal and Tipu Sultan Row recently.
It’s once again clear that Prakash Raj doesn’t take backfoot when it comes to speaking what he feels. ‘I admire them as great actors. But politics is a different ball game. It’s not charisma that works in politics. The understanding of the current situation, difficulties, and hardships of the people is important. And I would vote for someone who I feel can solve these problems.’
He further adds, ‘Stars shouldn’t consider themselves as born leaders. They can’t lead in politics that way. It’s the people’s mandate that is going to make them as leaders. It is very important to stay close to the common man to better understand his life and his sufferings. This is my personal view and I hold on to it.’
With the current situation in Tamil politics, it’s hard to take sides on who would be forming the government post the next elections.
