Tech Professionals Arrested for Attempted Protest at Cyber Towers:
On Thursday, the Cyberabad police took several software professionals into custody as they attempted to stage a protest at Cyber Towers. This protest was organized in support of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who was recently arrested by the Andhra Pradesh police. The police dispersed the crowd and temporarily detained some of the IT professionals, but they were released later. The protest had been scheduled to take place near Towers in the afternoon following a similar demonstration by hundreds of professionals at the Wipro junction in Gachibowli on the previous day. In response to a tip-off, the police increased their presence near the Towers and apprehended those who had gathered for the protest.
