My son tried a lot to get star directors attention – Puri Jagannadh
Puri Jagannadh enjoyed star director status for a very long in the film industry. After a string of continuous flops, many felt that the director has lost his charm. Though Temper movie is considered as a hit, the credit went to the story writer Vakkantham Vamsi. The director is introducing his son, Puri Akash with ‘Mehbooba’. The film is set to hit the screen on May 11th.
In this context, the movie team has arranged a special press meet. Talking at the press, Puri Jagannadh shared some interesting facts about Puri Akash. ‘Right from age 10, Akash used to irritate me telling some of the other stories.
He used to narrate me a story keeping Mahesh Babu as a hero in his mind. Later, he used to ask me to narrate the same story to Mahesh. When I said that Mahesh would kick both of us, he is to remain quiet. A few years back I told him that, I would try to make him a hero through a film. Until that, I asked him to do his own attempts.
Whenever he saw SS Rajamouli, VV Vinayak, or Sukumar, he used to fall on their feet seeking their blessings. In some way or the other he wanted to seek their attention’, said Puri Jagannadh.
