Once celebrated director Puri Jagannath is going through a lean phase in his career. He has put all his energies to introduce his son Akash in the project Mehbooba. Makers have released the theatrical trailer the other day.Puri Jagannath who got vexed with the commercial format has set himself a goal of launching his son to the industry. On the same note, he wanted to try something new in order to score a hit and be back on the success track. Thus, he wrote Mehbooba and readied the flick for the release.
A look at the theatrical trailer tells us that he has completely changed his style and tried something different with sincerity. Apart from stunning visuals and India-Pakistan love story, the movie has an underlined theme of rebirths, which is considered as the most successful format in Telugu Film Industry. From Mooga Manasulu to Janaki Ramudu, this proved to be a sure shot hit formula. None other than the ace director Rajamouli chose this format for two blockbusters Magadheera and Eega. It is Puri’s turn take up this genre and blend it with his creativity. The story is all about a love story between an Indian soldier and a Pakistani Muslim girl.
The story has something to do with the rebirth concept where both the leads or at least one of them will be born again to save their love.Puri has co-produced and directed this movie with an enormous passion. Stunning visuals and riveting background music by Sandeep Chowta raised positive buzz on this flick. The official release date is going to get announced by the makers in the near future.
