The new Chief of AICC, Rahul Gandhi who called the important leaders of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee came up with a new resolution. Details of this new development in Telangana Congress is quite painful to the leaders of this party.
Rahul Gandhi who brought never expected energy and mileage to the TPCC with his grand public meeting in Hyderabad is diverting those hopes down the river Musi with his new plan. He has appointed three big leaders as the board to select the candidates in Telangana for MLA, MP and MLC positions. Disappointingly, these three leaders are not from Telangana nor they have any connections with the State’s Politics. The three candidates of Rahul’s panel are AICC Odisha secretary Bhakta Charan Das, Former Youth Congress member of Tamil Nadu Jothimani Sennimalai and Sharmistha Mukherjee from West Bengal. These three never visited Telangana unlike other leaders like Ghulam Nabi Azad, Veerappa Moily etc who worked as Congress in charges for United AP.
Senior members of TPCC and Political analysts termed this act of Rahul as a big blunder and he is simply wasting a huge chance to win Power in Telangana. Political observers compared this act of Rahul to Sonia Gandhi’s past committee on Separate Telangana. This past Committee comprised of six senior Congress Members who have no idea nor roots from Andhra Pradesh back then. The result is the wipeout of Congress from entire AP post bifurcation.
