Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Dharman, produced by Kamal Haasan, is currently progressing with its shoot. The project faced several hurdles before going on floors, including a change in directors. Eventually, Ashwath Marimuthu took charge of the much-awaited entertainer.
The latest reports surrounding Dharman have come as a pleasant surprise for Telugu audiences. According to the buzz, Ram Pothineni is reportedly set to play a key role in the film. Some reports further claim that he could be seen as Rajinikanth’s son-in-law, with the two characters sharing a conflict-driven relationship.
If the reports turn out to be true, Ram Pothineni’s involvement would add another major attraction to the project. However, an official confirmation from the makers is still awaited.
Simran and Raashii Khanna are already part of the cast in pivotal roles, while Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music. The film’s second schedule has recently commenced, and Dharman is slated to hit theatres in 2027.
