The excitement surrounding Ramayana continues to build as the much-awaited mythological epic prepares for its worldwide theatrical release on November 5, 2026. Featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash in pivotal roles, the film is produced by Namit Malhotra and directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
At the film’s Tamil pre-release event, Sai Pallavi, who portrays Goddess Sita, encouraged audiences to watch Ramayana in 3D theatres for a more immersive cinematic experience. She explained that watching the trailer on a mobile phone could not compare with experiencing its visuals on a large screen in 3D.
The actress also spoke about producer Namit Malhotra’s ambitious vision for the project. According to Sai Pallavi, the team wanted to present the epic on a grand scale rather than settle for an ordinary adaptation. She urged audiences to bring their children along and experience the film together in theatres.
Expressing pride in the team’s efforts, Sai Pallavi said they were proud of what they had delivered for one of the world’s greatest stories. She also revealed that the event marked the team’s final promotional appearance in India before moving overseas to continue the film’s promotional campaign.
Apart from the lead trio, Ramayana features Ravi Dubey, Vivek Oberoi, Kajal Aggarwal, Sunny Deol, Rakul Preet Singh, Indira Krishnan, and Kunal Kapoor in important roles.
The film’s music is another major talking point, with Hollywood veteran Hans Zimmer handling the background score and A. R. Rahman composing the songs.
With its ambitious scale, prominent cast, and emphasis on the theatrical experience, Ramayana is generating considerable anticipation ahead of its November release.
