The much-awaited glimpse of Irumudi, starring Ravi Teja, is finally out, and it gently tugs at the heartstrings. Helmed by Shiva Nirvana, a filmmaker celebrated for his emotionally rich narratives, the film marks a refreshing turn for the Mass Maharaja. Here, Ravi Teja steps away from his trademark flamboyance and slips into a calm, rooted, and deeply human role.
The glimpse paints him as a devoted father whose world revolves around his young daughter, played by Baby Nakshathra. One touching moment becomes the soul of the teaser. The little girl asks her father to quit drinking for good. Her innocence lands with the weight of truth, and his response speaks volumes without shouting.
Moved by her words, the father embraces the sacred Ayyappa Maala, inviting his daughter to walk alongside him on this spiritual path. Their bond, pure and unconditional, unfolds with quiet grace, made even more powerful by the evocative background score composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
The film also stars Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead. Produced by the reputed banner Mythri Movie Makers, Irumudi is progressing swiftly with its shoot. The film is set for a grand theatrical release in August 2026, arriving in both Telugu and Tamil, carrying with it the promise of an emotional journey that lingers long after the lights come up
