KTR Slams CM Revanth Reddy Over Farmers Neglect

BRS leader KT Rama Rao criticized Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for allegedly disregarding the challenges faced by farmers amidst the recent unseasonal rains wreaking havoc on crops in Telangana. Expressing concern over the CM’s focus on political agendas rather than addressing farmers’ distress, Rao emphasized the urgent need for the state government to prioritize agricultural support over political maneuvers.

Highlighting the potential consequences of crop losses, including a surge in farmer suicides, Rao underscored the disconnect between political strategies and genuine governance. He urged for a shift in focus towards providing compensation for crop damage and ensuring adequate irrigation facilities, stressing the importance of empathetic leadership in times of crisis.

Renaming BRS as the Bharat “Rythu” Samithi, Rao reiterated the organization’s commitment to championing farmers’ rights and advocating for their welfare, vowing to continue the fight against injustices faced by the farming community.

While a complaint has been lodged with higher officials, the Utnoor police have not received any formal complaint regarding the alleged leakage.

The incident has raised concerns among education authorities, prompting an investigation into the matter. Despite the absence of a police complaint, education officials are taking the matter seriously and looking into the authenticity of the allegations. TDP Worker Death: Naidu Calls for Action Against Political Violence

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N. Chandrababu Naidu has urged the Election Commission to intervene swiftly to curb the rising political violence in Andhra Pradesh.

Naidu, speaking on Tuesday, expressed concern over the escalation of political violence by the ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) during the ongoing election process. He accused Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy of instigating violence due to fear of losing power, predicting his downfall within 50 days.

Highlighting recent incidents, Naidu cited the brutal killings of two TDP supporters, including Mulaiah from Gadikota and 21-year-old Imam Hussain from Chagalamarri. He also mentioned the arson attack on a car belonging to TDP activists in Macherla.

Demanding impartial police action and stringent measures against the perpetrators, Naidu condemned the YSRCP’s involvement in murder and factional politics.

Assuring support to affected families, Naidu criticized the Superintendents of Police (SPs) in Prakasam, Nandyal, and Palnadu districts, alleging their alignment with the ruling party.

Urging the Election Commission to address the law and order situation promptly, Naidu emphasized the need for immediate action to curb political violence ahead of the scheduled elections on May 13.

Jagan Mohan Reddy Election Campaign: ‘Memanta Siddham’ Bus Tour Begins

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is getting ready for a 21-day election campaign bus tour named ‘Memanta Siddham’ (We are all Ready), starting from March 27 in Kadapa district. This big campaign aims to gather support for the YSRCP before the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections on May 13.

On the first day, there will be a big public meeting in Proddaturu after starting from Idupulupaya. Then, on the second day, the bus will go to the Nandyala Parliament constituency for meetings with different groups and a big public event in the evening.

The third day will see the campaign go to the Kurnool Parliamentary constituency for more meetings and another public event. During these meetings, the Chief Minister will ask people for ideas to make the YSRCP government better. The campaign will cover all Parliamentary constituencies in the state except those that already had big campaign meetings. It’s meant to get more support for the YSRCP before the elections.
