A new chapter in Kamal Haasan’s Thug Life

After 37 years apart, renowned filmmaker Mani Ratnam and outstanding actor Kamal Haasan are working together again on the exciting project Thug Life. The lead actress is Trisha Krishnan.

The first schedule in Chennai, which began recently and included important scenes starring Kamal Haasan, Joju George, and Abhirami, has been wrapped, according to recent news. The next schedule, which will resume in Siberia, Russia, after a short break, is expected to give the movie a more global feel.

Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R. Mahendran, and Siva Ananth are the producers. Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gautham Karthik, Dulquer Salmaan, and Nasser are among the star-studded cast members. The soundtrack for this film is being composed by the talented musician AR Rahman.

3D Hanuman is coming – Here’s the official update

The worldwide sensation “Hanu-Man,” starring Teja Sajja and helmed by Prasanth Varma, is still making waves at the box office even after a number of low- and high-budget films have been released.

According to a recent interview, Prasanth Varma and his colleagues are working on a special project involving Hanuman. A test screening of Hanu-Man in three dimensions took place yesterday at Prasad’s theater in Hyderabad.

They decided to shift the food stall to another area. She complained that her stomach was being beaten. She appealed to get justice for her. When this matter came to the attention of CM Revanth Reddy, he responded. She suggested that permission be issued to set up a food stall in the same area.

On Tuesday, Swedish home furnishing retailer IKEA unveiled the launch of its e-commerce deliveries, extending its services to thousands of PIN codes across 62 districts in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Karnataka. This expansion aligns with IKEA’s response to sustained demand and visits from customers in nearby cities and towns to their physical stores.

The newly established customer meeting points will provide access to a comprehensive range of over 7,500 home furnishing products. Customers can effortlessly search, find, and purchase their preferred items through the IKEA app, online via the brand’s website (www.ikea.in), or leverage the “Shop by Phone” assistance service.

Susanne Pulverer, CEO & CSO (Chief Sustainability Officer) of IKEA India, expressed, “IKEA has received a lot of customer love and trust over the last five years from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Karnataka. Expanding our reach further in these markets means making IKEA more accessible to our customers, more convenient, and truly omnichannel.”

Presently, 72% of customer orders in existing markets are fulfilled through Electric Vehicles. With this expansion, IKEA aims to enhance capacities in its supply chain, emphasizing sustainability.

Hyderabad, along with Mumbai, New Delhi, and Chennai, is now a top spot for processing student visas, as per the U.S. Embassy and Consulates in India.

In 2023, the U.S. Embassy and Consulates in India hit a big milestone by processing a whopping 1.4 million U.S. visas. There was an incredible 60% increase in demand for all visa categories compared to 2022, making Indians one in every ten U.S. visa applicants worldwide.

Visitor visas (B1/B2) had a strong comeback, marking the second-highest number of applications in the U.S. Mission’s history, crossing 700,000.

In 2023, the U.S. consular team in India gave out over 140,000 student visas, breaking a record for the third year in a row. Indian students are now the largest group of international graduate students in the United States, making up more than a quarter of the one million foreign students studying there.

Consular Team India is committed to focusing on employment visas, combining petition-based processing in Chennai and Hyderabad, issuing over 380,000 visas in 2023. In 2024, a pilot program is set to let eligible H1B holders renew their visas in the United States, making the process smoother for them.
