Suryakumar is much like AB de Villiers at his best, says Shastri

0

Former India men’s team coach Ravi Shastri has been left in awe of Suryakumar Yadav’s pyrotechnics, with the ex-allrounder saying he is one of the best T20 players in the world and quite like AB de Villiers at his peak.

The year 2022 saw Surya grabbing headlines in the shortest format of the game, bringing out exquisite strokes that very few had the opportunity to witness before.

“He is one of the best players in the world if not the best T20 player. He has got the all-round game and he is devastating. On his day, if he bats 30-40 balls, he’ll win you the match because he scores at that pace and he demoralizes the opposition with the kind of shots he plays. He is much like AB de Villiers at his best. When AB played one of those special innings, it deflated the opposition and Surya can do just that,” Shastri told Prime Video after India’s second fixture against New Zealand.

Shastri also spoke about Surya’s ODI form when he was told about the batter’s not-so-prolific returns in the longer format of the white ball game.

“If you look at the numbers and law of averages, he is bound to have an innings like that. But if he gets past the 15-20-run mark, he makes it count as he showed in some of his earlier innings. So, he backs his ability and attacking instincts. So, when you have those kinds of instincts, every odd inning, he is bound to fail. But when it comes off, it’s spectacular.”

Surya will be a crucial part of the Indian cricket team when they take on New Zealand for the series decider with India still trailing after the second ODI was washed out.

YouTube removes 1.7 mn videos in India for violating its norms in Q3

0

Google-owned YouTube on Tuesday said that it has removed over 1.7 million videos in India for violating its Community Guidelines in its Q3 report.

In the same period, the streaming platform removed over 5.6 million videos globally for violating its community guidelines.

According to the Community Guidelines Enforcement report, more than 94 percent of these videos were first flagged by machines rather than humans.

Of the videos detected by machines, 36 percent were removed before they received a single view, and 31 percent received between one and 10 views before removal.

More than 67 percent of YouTube’s violent videos were removed before they received more than 10 views. Moreover, YouTube removed over 5 million channels in Q3 2022 for violating their Community Guidelines.

Most of these channels were terminated for violating the company’s spam policies, including misleading metadata or thumbnails, scams, video, and comments spam, said the report.

The video streaming platform removed more than 728 million comments in Q3 2022, the majority of which were spam. More than 99 percent of removed comments were detected automatically, the report added.

YouTube has Community Guidelines that set the rules of the road for what is not allowed on YouTube. The company enforces its policies using a combination of machine learning and human reviewers.

Gavi and Hernandez minor injury doubts for Spain as Koke looks to Japan match

0

Spain has two minor injury worries ahead of their World Cup Group E match against Japan on Thursday, with midfielders Gavi and Rodrigo Hernandez both currently working on their own.

Gavi spent the second day after Spain’s 1-1 draw against Germany, which has put them on the verge of qualifying for the last 16, working on a static bicycle after suffering a knock on his right tibia on Sunday night, while Hernandez also worked in the gym.

Both players are expected to be available to face Japan, where a draw would be enough to see Spain into the last 16, although the Spanish need a win to ensure they qualify as group leaders, reports Xinhua. Speaking to the press on Tuesday, midfielder Koke insisted Spain would go flat out for a win in the game.

“Our strategy is to go out and try to win. You always look at your own qualification, but we have to respect our rivals,” he said.

“We haven’t talked about strategy, but our idea of keeping possession is always the same: it is one of our strengths and we will live or die with that idea. Japan is a well-organized side and they look to break with energy and pace. In Spain, we all know Take Kubo, but their strength is in their team,” added Koke.

Hyderabad cops tow away car with Sharmila sitting inside

A car with YSRTP leader Y.S. Sharmila in it was towed away by police here on Tuesday when she was heading towards Chief Minister’s official residence to protest the alleged attack by TRS supporters on her padyatra in Warangal district on Monday.

The YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP) leader herself was driving the car and proceeding towards Pragathi Bhavan as a mark of protest against the attack by the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS).

Police stopped her on the way. As Sharmila refused to get down from the car, the police called a crane that towed away the vehicle with the YSRTP leader sitting in it.

Sharmila, who is the sister of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, was arrested and taken to S.R. Nagar Police Station.

After reaching the police station, she refused to get down of the car. Police personnel forcibly opened the car door and whisked her away to the police station.

Meanwhile, some YSRTP workers who reached the police station to stage the protest were arrested.

A case was registered against her at Panjagutta Police Station. The case was booked under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) section 353 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty), section 333 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt to deter public servant from his duty), and section 327 (voluntarily causing hurt to extort property, or to constrain to an illegal act)

Meanwhile, Sharmila’s mother Y.S. Vijayamma was placed under house arrest by the police as she was leaving for S.R. Nagar Police Station to meet her. The police did not allow Vijayamma to come out of her residence in Jubilee Hills. Vijayamma began a protest at the residence along with her supporters.

She condemned the police behavior with her daughter. She alleged that the state government was trying to snatch the democratic right to raise people’s issues.

Sharmila along with supporters took out the protest march and headed towards the CM’s residence in Begumpet.

When they reached near Yashoda Hospital on Raj Bhavan Road, police stopped them.

The YSRTP workers raised slogans against the ruling party. As they tried to proceed toward the chief minister’s residence, police detained them.

The protest march by YSRTP also included the padyatra bus that was stoned and burnt by the TRS activists on Monday.

Sharmila’s Yatra bus and other vehicles were attacked at Narasmpet in the Warangal district when she was visiting the area as part of her Praja Prasthanam Yatra.

The YSRTP alleged that TRS men went on a rampage indiscriminately attacking the Padayatra, stoning and burning a bus, unleashing filthy language, and tearing down banners and party flags.

The police later arrested Sharmila on the ground that she was continuing the foot march despite their advice to call it off in view of the tense situation in the area.

The police later shifted the YSRTP leader to Hyderabad on Monday night. Addressing a press conference, she made it clear that her yatra and the fight against the TRS atrocities would not stop.

Sharmila added she would not be cowed down by the ‘rowdies and rogues of TRS’ and would march for the sake of 4-crore Telangana people who stood by her.

In continuation of her protest, she began her march towards Pragati Bhavan to “seek an explanation from KCR” and “know if this is part of his governance that those who questioned his government’s failures and tyranny had to be attacked and harmed”.

Some party leaders who also staged a protest at the party’s office in Jubilee Hills were also arrested by the police.

England pace bowler Anderson eagerly looking forward to clash against Pakistan

0

Veteran England pace bowler Jimmy Anderson is eagerly looking forward to the historic Test series in Pakistan, saying his teammates are “just chomping at the bit” of an exciting challenge in the sub-continent.

The opening Test will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from December 1, which will be followed by matches in Multan and Karachi. The Ben Stokes-led England are touring Pakistan for the first time in 17 years and the 40-year-old Anderson is the only member of the squad to have toured the country before, in 2005, but he only featured in tour matches and ODIs.

Pakistan is the only cricket-playing country where the veteran quick — the highest wicket-taking pace bowler in the world — has yet to play a Test during his more than two decades of professional cricket.

“(We are) really excited,” Anderson was quoted as saying by planetsport.com. “Especially after the summer we had in Test cricket, we felt like we were building something and we want to keep that kind of momentum building, and to be a part of that in the summer was amazing.

“Then, to be a part of what is a really exciting challenge for us out here… Different conditions, different from what we will have experienced before as a group. It’s a really exciting challenge and I think all of us are just chomping at the bit.”

Earlier this year, Australia became the first of the three big cricket-playing countries to tour Pakistan with the visitors under Pat Cummins clinching the series 1-0.

“We’re trying to make sure we (the bowlers) have all bases covered for every eventuality and make sure we know what fields we might set, talking specifics about their batters as well and trying to work out plans for them.

“But I think, at this level, it’s happened for a few years in the Test team in particular where we, I wouldn’t say we’re self-sufficient, but we do look after each other, and we’ve got great analysts.

“We’ve got great coaches all around us and some of the best captains the world has ever seen in our group, so we can pick their brains as well and we feel like we’ve got what it takes to take 20 wickets in each Test match,” he added.

President Droupadi Murmu on the first day of a two-day tour to Haryana on Tuesday offered prayers amidst chanting of mantras as she formally inaugurated the International Gita Mahotsav (IGM) — 2022 organized on the banks of Brahma Sarovar in Kurukshetra, the holy land of the Shrimad Bhagwad Gita.

Later, the President offered flowers on the religious scripture Gita as she performed the yagna near Lord Shri Krishna’s chariot idol located at Purushottampura Bagh.

Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatraya and Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar were also present on the occasion.

President Murmu inaugurated the Gita Shilp Udyan, built-in Purushottam Bagh, dedicated to the ongoing celebrations of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

At the Gita Shilp Udyan, an attempt has been made to give a glimpse of ongoing celebrations of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav along with many other significant aspects of Indian culture.

Twenty-one craftsmen from various states, comprising Haryana, Odisha, Telangana, Rajasthan, and Assam, have contributed beautiful sculptures.

The sculptures made of black marble, weighing 5 to 12 tons, have been prepared by the artists by carving pieces of the same rock. All the sculptures have been prepared on subjects related to Mahabharata. These beautiful sculptures have been made under the leadership of Hriday Kaushal and other promising art craftsmen along with the efforts of the Art and Cultural Affairs Department.

The sculptures have become witness to the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and this work has not only given the young artists of the state special recognition at the international level but has also made the vanishing art of modern sculptures alive.

This amazing modern art, which has been alive for centuries, is working to increase the pride and honor of Haryana.

The Shilp Udyan has become the center of attraction for tourists during the IGM — 2022.

International Gita Mahotsav — 2022 became more memorable for Haryanavis as the President gifted three pivotal projects to the state which include first-of-its-kind Nirogi Haryana, a health checkup scheme, covering Antyodaya families, the foundation stone of Sirsa Medical College and the e-ticketing system of the state roadways.

Later, she participated in the International Gita Seminar held at Shrimad Bhagavad Gita Sadan at Kurukshetra University here. The seminar is a part of the series of ongoing programs being held at IGM — 2022 in Kurukshetra.

The President, while attending the seminar, virtually launched these projects in the presence of Governor Dattatraya and Chief Minister Khattar, among other dignitaries.

PKL 9: Win against Bengaluru Bulls will boost our hopes for top-two, says Jaipur Pink Panthers’ captain

0

Off the back of a resounding 48-28 win against the Telugu Titans on Monday, the Jaipur Pink Panthers will hope to keep the momentum going, especially with the playoff stages knocking on the door.

Jaipur Pink Panthers captain Sunil Kumar said that the game against the Bengaluru Bulls might decide who takes up the top spots by the end of the league.

“In Kabaddi, there’s always something at stake, it’s always do-or-die and the game against the Bengaluru Bulls might decide who takes up the top spots by the end of the league. A win against the Bengaluru Bulls will put us in a great position for a top-2 spot,” Sunil Kumar said.

He went on to talk about the Jaipur Pink Panthers’ approach, saying, “Our defensive unit and our raiders must function well and in sync, otherwise it will be a difficult time against the Bengaluru Bulls, as they’re a great team and in good form.”

Meanwhile, Coach Upendra Kumar added that playing together as a team is very crucial, but also had a word of praise for the defender Ankush, saying, “This is a team game, and even though there is an Ankush who is playing well, there is also Sunil Kumar who is picking up important points. But the team is quite impressed by Ankush, as he is doing just what we need at the big moments.”

Matches on Wednesday

The in-form Jaipur Pink Panthers will hope to nail down the playoff berth when they take on the Bengaluru Bulls on Wednesday. However, both sides have been raking in the points quite comfortably, and while the Jaipur Pink Panthers have an Arjun Deshwal leading the charge in attack, the Bengaluru Bulls will bank on the prowess of Bharat and Vikash Kandola.

After that, the Dabang Delhi KC take the mat and will have the Tamil Thalaivas on the other end. Both teams are locked in an intense battle for a playoff berth. A win for the defending champions will take them above the Tamil Thalaivas but Dabang Delhi KC needs Naveen Kumar and Vijay Malik to come to the party again.

Women’s ODI Player Rankings: Chantham, De Leede gain big after Thailand vs Netherlands series

0

Thailand batter Natthakan Chatham and Netherlands’ Babette de Leede gained big in the latest ICC Women’s ODI Player Rankings released on Tuesday after doing well in their recent four-match series.

Thailand completed an emphatic 4-0 series sweep over the Netherlands last week and their experienced opener Natthakan Chatham made one of the biggest moves on the latest rankings update for batters.

Chatham scored a brilliant century and two half-centuries during the series and her 267 runs at an average of 66.75 saw the 26-year-old finish as the leading run scorer for the two sides.

The efforts saw the talented right-hander rise 40 places to 49th overall on the latest ODI rankings for batters, while Dutch counterpart Babette de Leede also made giant strides. De Leede hit a team-high 159 runs at an average of just less than 40 during the four games and was duly rewarded with a 41-place rise to equal 47th on the batter rankings.

There was also some movement on the latest list for ODI bowlers following the completion of that series in Chiangmai, with young Netherlands pacer Iris Zwilling and Thailand spinner Suleeporn Laomi the biggest movers.

The duo finished the series as joint leading wicket-takers with 10 scalps apiece and both players moved up the latest list for bowlers as a result.

Twenty-one-year-old Zwilling rises 27 places to 58th overall, while Laomi moves from outside the top 100 to 68th following her eye-catching efforts.

Abu Dhabi T10: Morrisville SAMP Army prefer to play the situation and conditions, says Karim Janat as juggernaut rolls on

0

One of the new franchises to embrace the Abu Dhabi T10’s sixth season is the Morrisville SAMP Army, who have started off brilliantly, winning their first three games on the bounce.

In a format that is considered to be more friendly towards the batters, the SAMP Army’s big hitters have come to the party from the get-go. Among their most dangerous batters is Afghanistan’s Karim Janat with a strike rate of 190.

“I am glad that I have been able to help the team like this. We are a new set-up and the management and the team are all getting along well. Our bowlers and batters are doing the things they need to well,” Janat said.

Janat also explained that the SAMP Army play the situation and conditions more than anything, as they believe that is the need of the hour. Against the Chennai Braves, Janat let go of the handbrakes, scoring an unbeaten 58 off 28 deliveries, to pick up the Player of the Match award.

“We play according to the target and the conditions. When you pace yourself according to the situation and target, and play unselfishly, reaching the finish line becomes a little bit easier.”

Speaking about playing with the SAMP Army’s Icon Player David Miller, Janat explained that the duo had clearly chalked out their roles whilst in the middle.

“While playing with David, we realized that we could both attack together but in different ways. He and I picked different areas that we would target, mostly where the boundaries were shorter, and that helped us over the line against the Chennai Braves.”

Janat, who is ready to bat at whichever position the team demands, further added that batting with David Miller, who is well traveled was quite an enjoyable experience for him.

“It was great to bat with David, he’s a senior pro and he was always supportive towards me while batting in the middle. He kept motivating me as I was going for the big hits and kept giving very valuable tips about dealing with the opposition bowlers, all of which really made batting easy,” Janat signed off.

Apple releases second Rapid Security Response update for iOS 16.2 users

0

Apple has released a new update — Rapid Security Response which is available to those running the iOS 16.2 beta, marking the second RSR update since the feature was released in iOS 16.

According to MacRumours, the Rapid Security Response update is intended to provide bug fixes to iOS 16.2 beta users without requiring them to install a full update.

Since the first RSR release for iOS 16.2 beta users was a test without any actual bug fixes, this update is likely to be a similar test as well.

Beta users can find the update in the Settings app in the same place a normal update appears. This update will appear as iOS Security Response 16.2 (b), according to the report.

Earlier this month, Apple released its third iOS 16.2 beta, which allows users to disable wallpaper and notifications from displaying on the iPhone’s always-on display.

In iOS 16.2 beta 3, the company has added two new toggles — one that disables the ‘show wallpaper’ feature and another that disables the ‘show notifications’ feature.

Furthermore, Apple, in its first iOS 16.2 beta to developers release, allowed users to send a report to the company when Emergency SOS has been triggered inadvertently.

I-League: Real Kashmir maintain unbeaten run with victory over Churchill Brothers

0

Real Kashmir continued their unbeaten run in the 2022-23 Hero I-League with a 1-0 win over Churchill Brothers at the TRC Stadium here.

A second-half header by the substitute Ibrahim Nurudeen proved enough for the hosts as they defeated Churchill Brothers for the first time in the I-League.

Churchill Brothers maintained possession right from the first whistle, however, the first major chance of the game fell for the home side at the quarter-hour mark as midfielder Yakubu Wadudu’s shot was deflected onto the post by goalkeeper Albino Gomes.

In the 18th minute, Real Kashmir’s Lalnuntluanga Bawitlung took a powerful shot from 30-yards out but the Churchill custodian Albino Gomes made a great save, diving to his left to keep the ball out of his goal.

The 28-year-old was called into action again in the 34th minute, making another acrobatic save, this time from Samuel Kynshi’s effort. Five minutes before the half-time whistle, Tana curled in a corner for the visitors, which was punched away by Subhasish Roy Chowdhury in the Real Kashmir goal.

The Snow Leopards launched a promising counter-attack from the resulting clearance as Jerry Pulamte sent Kynshi through on goal with a neat pass. Albino Gomes stood strong for the Red Machines once again, pulling off two saves in quick succession to deny the hosts the opening goal.

The second half began with Real Kashmir charging at the Churchill defense. Two minutes after the restart, Pulamte got a shot away from the top of the penalty area but it was comfortably collected by goalkeeper Gomes.

At the hour mark, Joseph Clemente fouled Kynshi just outside the penalty area. Nozomi Babadzhanov took the resultant free-kick but his effort hit the wall and went out for a corner. Five minutes later, Pulamte received a great through ball from Wadudu before sending a cross in for Issahak Nuhu Seidu but the Ghanaian failed to get a clean connection and Churchill custodian Gomes collected the ball.

The Churchill defense was finally breached in the 76th minute as Gomes’ parry from the corner kick dropped for Bawitlung at the edge of the box, who lobbed it back into the box for substitute Ibrahim Nurudeen to head home.

The visitors later received many opportunities to come back into the game with both Tana and Ciss taking free kicks just outside the Real Kashmir penalty area but their efforts were well off target. It just wasn’t Churchill Brothers’ day as they finished the game with no shots on target.

With this result, the home side remained at the top of the table with 10 points from four games (three wins and a draw), while the Goan side has just a single point from their four outings.

S.Korea can still reach knockouts with win, help from others

0

By losing to Ghana 3-2 in their second Group H match of the FIFA World Cup on Monday, South Korea dug themselves into a hole — though it’s not deep enough that they won’t be able to get out of it.

Portugal became the first Group H team to grab a knockout berth Monday night by beating Uruguay 2-0. They have six points from two straight wins and will finish no lower than second place, Yonhap news agency reported.

Portugal will be the final group stage opponent for South Korea, who are in third place with one point, two behind Ghana. Uruguay also has one point, but South Korea holds the edge in the first tiebreak category, goal difference, at -1 to -2.

South Korea will not be able to control their own destiny when they take on Portugal for their final Group H match on Friday at Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan, west of Doha.

The first part of the equation is straightforward. South Korea must win Friday.

And then, if Uruguay beat Ghana that same evening, South Korea and Uruguay will end up tied at four points and a tiebreaker will come into play, while Ghana will finish in last place. In this scenario, South Korea’s margin of victory must be bigger than Uruguay’s.

If South Korea win and Ghana win Friday, South Korea will be sent home, with Portugal and Ghana moving on to the round of 16 at six points apiece. A tiebreaker will be necessary to determine the top seed.

In case of a South Korean win and a Ghana-Uruguay draw, South Korea and Ghana will be deadlocked at four points, with Uruguay finishing last with two points.

Ghana currently holds a slight edge in goal difference at 0 to -1. But in the next tiebreak category, goals scored, Ghana enjoy a substantial lead at 5-2.

It will be a tall order for South Korea to score more than three goals against Portugal. The Taegeuk Warriors have never scored more than two goals in any World Cup match before.

And just because Portugal has grabbed a knockout ticket, it doesn’t mean they will take it easy against South Korea on Friday. Portugal coach Fernando Santos said after Monday’s victory that he will try to win the group and not settle for just a trip to the last 16.

The Group H runners-up will face the Group G winners in the round of 16, and at the moment, world No. 1 Brazil is in a prime position to win Group G.

In each group, final matches kick off at the same time, so as to prevent any shenanigans over group seeding. There will be some anxious scoreboard-watching in the stands during Friday’s matches, with South Korea and Portugal engaging in action just west of the Qatari capital, and Ghana and Uruguay set to duke it out at Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah, south of Doha.

Rationalising income tax, lowering Customs duties among suggestions to Centre

0

Rationalization of income tax, fiscal consolidation, lowering of Customs duties, developing a mechanism for green certification to help micro small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and introduction of an urban employment guarantee program to boost employment generation in urban areas, are some of the key suggestions which Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman received over the past one week from various sections of stakeholders, as part of her pre-budget consultations.

The Finance Minister on Monday concluded her pre-budget consultations with various stakeholders like economists, industry bodies, social sector organizations, service providers and corporates, financial institutions, farm bodies, and finance ministers of states, whom she met over the past week.

Some other important suggestions that the government received included the creation of innovation clusters, the introduction of schemes for improving domestic supply chains, the reduction of taxes on electric vehicles (EVs) as well as the introduction of an EV policy, measures to promote India as a hub for Green Hydrogen, social sector entrepreneurship fund for social impact companies and setting up of a national regulatory authority for water and sanitation, among others.

Union Ministers of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary and Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad, finance secretary T.V. Somanathan, economic affairs secretary Ajay Seth and chief economic advisor V. Anantha Nageswaran and other senior officials of the finance ministry were present during these meetings.

FIFA World Cup: Cameroon rally to hold Serbia in six-goal thriller

0

Cameroon came back from a two-goal deficit to force a 3-3 draw with Serbia in a FIFA World Cup Group G thriller at the Al Janoub Stadium here on Monday.

With the draw, arguably the most exciting game of the World Cup in Qatar so far, Cameroon kept their hopes alive of reaching the World Cup last 16 Stage.

Jean-Charles Castelletto opened the scoring in the 29th minute for Cameroon. Thereafter, two quick goals from Strahinja Pavlovic and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic just before the break, in injury stoppage time, saw Serbia head into half-time with a 2-1 lead.

Mitrovic then added a third in the 53rd minute as Serbia appeared to be cruising to victory with a 3-1 lead against their name.

But Cameroon had other ideas and staged a remarkable second-half comeback. The Indomitable Lions bounced back, scoring twice to level.

Substitute Vincent Aboubakar scored an outrageous lob that was initially ruled offside until VAR intervened to award the goal to Cameroon in the 63rd minute.

Two minutes later, Aboubakar drove down the right and passed it to Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting who equalized to make it 3-3.

It all goes down to Friday matches with both teams needing a win from their next match, with Brazil next up for Cameroon, and Switzerland facing Serbia.

But all eyes will be on the Switzerland-Brazil tie which takes place today with the winner qualifying for the next stage, having won their respective first-round matches against Cameroon and Serbia respectively.

WhatsApp denies 500 mn users’ data leak

0

Meta-owned WhatsApp on Monday denied that phone numbers of 487 million users have been stolen and put on sale on a “well-known” hacking community forum.

Cybernews first reported that the dataset allegedly contains WhatsApp user data from 84 countries and phone numbers of over 32 million users from the US, 11 million from the UK, and 10 million from Russia.

“The claim written on Cybernews is based on unsubstantiated screenshots. There is no evidence of a ‘data leak’ from WhatsApp,” a company spokesperson told IANS.

The purported list is a set of phone numbers and not “WhatsApp user information”.

According to the report, the hacker claimed to have a significant number of phone numbers belonging to the citizens of Egypt (45 million), Italy (35 million), Saudi Arabia (29 million), France (20 million), and Turkey (20 million).

The hacker was selling the US dataset for $7,000, the UK for $2,500, and Germany for $2,000, according to the report.

Cybernews researchers were able to get in touch with the hacker. Upon investigation, the researchers found that all of them were active WhatsApp users.

However, the hacker did not specify how they obtained the data, suggesting they “used their strategy,” and that all the numbers belong to WhatsApp users, said the report.

This database can be used by hackers for spamming, phishing attempts, identity theft, and other cybercriminal activities, the report said.
