Rains to be back in TN from Saturday, Yellow alert in 7 districts

0

After a brief respite, the northeast monsoon is likely to hit Tamil Nadu again from Saturday onwards, according to India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Chennai and delta districts are likely to receive heavy rains from Saturday and the IMD has issued a yellow alert in 7 districts on Saturday.

An orange alert has been issued for Sunday in three districts and a yellow alert in six districts of Tamil Nadu.

Heavy to very heavy rains are likely on Sunday in isolated locations over the Kancheepuram, Chengalpattu, and Villupuram districts of the state. The new low-pressure area formed over the southeast Bay of Bengal is likely to move northwestwards and turn into a depression over the central parts of the South Bay of Bengal leading to heavy rains on November 19 and 20.

Rain is likely to continue for a few more days from Saturday.

In Chennai, light to moderate rains are likely in a few places and sky conditions will be partly cloudy. Puducherry and Karaikkal areas are also likely to receive widespread rains from Sunday onwards.

On Monday also, heavy rains are likely in northern parts of the state and Puducherry as also in some parts of South Tamil Nadu.

So far, the state has received 33 cm of rainfall which is a 14 percent surplus.

The IMD has advised fishermen not to venture into the sea from Saturday to Monday as winds are likely to blow off the Tamil Nadu coast and Southwest Bay of Bengal.

WhatsApp to launch new business directory in five countries

0

Meta has announced that its messaging platform WhatsApp is launching a yellow pages-style business directory in five countries.

The feature will roll out across Brazil, the UK, Indonesia, Mexico, and Colombia, reports The Verge.

According to the company, the new feature will help users to either search directly to find companies that are contactable on the service or browse by business types such as travel or banking.

All the users who signed up for WhatsApp’s Business Platform across the five countries will display in the directory.

In Brazil, the directory will also be open to small businesses.

“While millions of businesses in Brazil use WhatsApp for chat, we haven’t made it easy to discover businesses or buy from them, so people end up having to use a workaround,” Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg was quoted as saying.

“The ultimate goal here is to make it so you can find, message, and buy from a business all in the same WhatsApp chat.”

The feature’s introduction coincides with the company’s increasing effort to position itself as a platform for messaging businesses in addition to friends and family.

After a limited test in Sao Paulo last year, the company now decided to officially release the feature.

Meta fires staff for hijacking Facebook, Insta accounts: Report

0

Meta has reportedly fired or disciplined over two dozen employees for hijacking Facebook and Instagram accounts over the past year.

According to The Wall Street Journal, some offenders used Meta’s account recovery software, “Oops,” and even took thousands of dollars in bribes from those seeking access.

Some of those fired were contractors who worked as security guards at Meta facilities and were given access to the company’s internal system for helping users who had trouble with their accounts.

“Individuals selling fraudulent services are always targeting online platforms, including ours, and adapting their tactics in response to the detection methods that are commonly used across the industry,” Meta spokesman Andy Stone was quoted as saying.

“The company will keep taking appropriate action against those involved in these kinds of schemes,” he added.

When people lost access to their accounts, they frequently try automated procedures for resetting them or attempt to contact someone at Meta by phone or email, which many users have reported is frequently unsuccessful, according to the report.

Some of those individuals were able to procure the assistance of Meta personnel and subcontractors by having them complete a form through the Oops channel.

The usage of Oops, an acronym for Online Operations, has increased along with the number of employees despite being intended to be somewhat restricted to special cases, such as friends, family, business partners, and public figures, said the report.

In 2020, the channel serviced about 50,270 tasks, up from 22,000 tasks in 2017, the report added.

Liam Hemsworth receives $20K luxury watch from Russell Crowe

Rolex watch received by Liam Hemsworth from Russell Crowe with a worth of $20,000 plus.
Before going to the motion picture’s premiere in the city of Sydney, Australia, the 58-year-old actor presented me with the plush at the event. reports from aceshowbiz.com.

In the show The Kyle and Jackie O Show, Hemsworth told,” Rolex watch brings for me, When I went to his home last night, He gives the watch to me. Crowe is my best friend. I like him so very much.”

Hemsworth also walked the premiere’s blue carpet with Gabriella Brooks, three months after speculation emerged that the couple had split. In August, it was claimed that Hemsworth and the 26-year-old actress had gone their separate ways after three years of dating, with Gabriella said to be “heartbroken”.

However, the pair looked smitten as the ‘Isn’t It Romantic’ star put his arms around Gabriella on the premiere of Liam’s latest film. Speaking previously about their relationship, Gabriella said: “My personal relationship is very, very important and very sacred to me.”

“And I feel like in an industry where so much is put out on the show, there are some things you just want to keep to yourself. I completely understand (their interest in her relationship). But at the end of the day, I guess I just like having that for me. But he’s great. They (the Hemsworths) are great.

They are the most beautiful people and I’m very lucky to know them.”

Hemsworth previously married singer Miley Cyrus in December 2018 after almost a decade of on/off dating. However, the couple split eight months after the wedding and divorced in January 2020.

He was first linked to Gabriella in December 2019, following his split from Miley.

It was probably the best I’ve felt in about six years, says Smith following his unbeaten 80

0

Former Australian skipper and top-order batter Steve Smith is feeling in great space following his unbeaten 80 against England in the opening One-day International (ODI) at the Adelaide Oval, saying he has never felt so good in the last six years.

The charismatic batter along with opener David Warner (86) and Travis Head (69) helped the home team to make a winning start to the three-match ODI series, crossing the target of 287 set by Jos Buttler’s England for the loss of four wickets with 19 balls to spare.

Smith looked in great touch, scoring his unbeaten 80 at nearly a run a ball.

“It was probably the best I’ve felt in about six years. I was just in really nice positions and I felt really good, I honestly haven’t felt that way in six years or so. It was probably the best I’ve felt in about six years. I was just in really nice positions and I felt really good, I honestly haven’t felt that way in six years or so.

“It’s been nice to score some runs in that time and we’re always looking for perfection, and for me was close to perfection as I will get,” added Smith.

Smith has been struggling for form in recent times and featured in only one of Australia’s matches at the T20 World Cup at home. This has raised some questions about his future in white-ball cricket, but the superb knock against England again showcased what a brilliant batter Smith is.

Smith also said he had been working on making minor tweaks to his technique, in order to rediscover his best stance. The process has been ongoing for a year and has finally started to pay rewards, according to ICC.

“I’ve been working on a few things; it’s almost been a six-month or 12-month process. At the start of last summer, I tried to get my hands back to where they were in 2015. I feel like I’m staying a bit more side-on now and I’ve got my feet and hands in sync together,” Smith said on his technique change.

Hoping that his knock at Adelaide was the start of a big summer, Smith concluded, “(Thursday) was probably the first time I’ve actually had extended time in the middle with that change. It’s hard to base something on one innings but it felt as though things clicked for me as they did at the WACA (in a Test against England) in 2013. Hopefully, it’s the start of a big summer.”

Twitter won’t allow new accounts to buy Blue verification for 90 days

0

Twitter will not allow new accounts to purchase the Blue subscription service for 90 days when it relaunches. This means that users will not be able to instantly verify a new account, reports The Verge. It could be an effort to reduce the chances of scams and impersonator accounts.

According to the report, the old plan didn’t specify a waiting period, but it did have a warning that “Twitter accounts created on or after November 9, 2022, will be unable to subscribe to Twitter Blue at this time”.

The new Twitter Blue page says that the platform “may also impose waiting periods for new accounts in the future in our discretion without notice.”

Recently, Twitter CEO Elon Musk said that the micro-blogging platform will relaunch its $8 Blue subscription service with verification from November 29, this time more “rock solid”.

He also said that with the new release, “changing your verified name will cause loss of checkmark until the name is confirmed by Twitter to meet Terms of Service”.

Musk had earlier paused Blue service after several fake accounts came up on the platform, impersonating brands and celebrities.

Rahul Gandhi dares govt to stop Bharat Jodo Yatra

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Thursday challenged the government to stop the ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra (BJY) “which is conveying the message of love – not hatred – among the people of India”.

Referring to certain Balasahebanchi Shiv Sena (BSS) leaders questioning the need for the BJY, he said that it is intended to “connect” the country, “hear” the voices of the masses, and spread the message of love through the march.

“If the government still feels they want to stop it, then let them do it… No problems. I have decided to continue it from Kanyakumari to Kashmir and hoist the tricolor in Srinagar,” declared Gandhi, in a media interaction here this afternoon.

Touching upon the statements by certain Bharatiya Janata Party leaders that “when the country is not divided then where’s the need to unite it” through the BJY, Gandhi said that the country’s atmosphere has completely changed in the past 8 years, with hatred seen all around.

He said that the BJY is countering the ideology of those who spread “hate” with the idea of “love” by those who work to unite the country as hatred makes the nation weak while love strengthens it.

“Lakhs of people are joining the BJY… Farmers, workers, youth, shopkeepers, and women, speak of their issues, problems, pains, and suffering during the march, I am learning a lot We are getting a tremendous response and we are being showered with love,” said Gandhi.

Referring to the V.D. Savarkar issue, Gandhi waved and read out a letter written by the revolutionary to the British government, saying he (Savarkar) wanted to be a servant of the colonial rulers.

“What wrong have I said? I have only presented the historical truth. Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patil, and others were also jailed by the British for years but they did not secure their release by writing (such) letters to the colonial rulers,” Gandhi pointed out.

During the BJY, he said he was “listening to the voice of the farmers, workers, youth and women” of the country, which “the government of India is not hearing” and how the voice of the opposition is also being suppressed.

“Whenever we, the Congress and other Opposition parties attempt to raise the concerns of the masses like demonetisation, economy, GST inflation, China, in the parliament, the mikes are switched off, there is pressure on the institutions and the judicial system from the ruling party,” Gandhi said.

Through the BJY, he is highlighting all these questions, and learning how the people are living under the shadow of fear, hatred, and violence, he said.

Dwelling upon the major problems of the people that he encountered during the BJY, Gandhi said these pertain to the farmers and the youth of the country, who feel “they have no future”, but he was questioning and demanding answers from the government.

“Farmers are in distress, they don’t get the due price for their produce, no compensation, loan waivers, or insurance claims for crop losses. When the (former) UPA government was in power, we gave the farmers all help they needed. The youth of the country are worried as there’s no guarantee of jobs even after getting the necessary qualifications and skills, spending money taken on education loans,” Gandhi said.

He said that if the farmland suicides have to be stopped, then they need proper support and timely help, they are the people who feed the nation and it’s the responsibility of the government to stand behind them, just as the UPA government had done in the past.

“The youth are facing a similar scenario. Young boys and girls say they are acquiring education, but not one youth I met was confident that he/she will get employment. Their parents work hard, borrow from various sources and mostly spend it on private colleges for education, inflation is high, and the future is bleak with no jobs for their children. The government is not paying attention to all this,” said Gandhi.

Slamming the BJP, Gandhi said that all out attempts are being made to end the Opposition parties in the country with the lure of money and power, citing the Maharashtra example.

He mentioned how a Shiv Sena-UBT MLA informed of a Rs 50 crore offer to join the rebel group but he refused, and the erstwhile Maha Vikas Aghadi government in the state collapsed in June.

“The Shiv Sena-UBT MLAs were given Rs 50 crore and taken away by the rival camp. Corrupt people are going there and efforts are on to decimate the Opposition parties. But there’s no dearth of good and honest people in the country,” declared Gandhi.

The Congress MP field questions in Marathi, Hindi, and English and was flanked by top party leaders like K.C. Venugopal, Jairam Ramesh, H.K. Patil, Ashish Dua, and state leaders including Nana Patole, Balasaheb Thorat, Atul Londhe, Dr. Raju Waghmare, Kapil Dhoke, Dr. Sudhir Dhone, and others.

‘Splitsvilla X4’: Sunny Leone asks Dhruvin Bhasin to slow down, zip his mouth

‘Splitsvilla X4’ contestants Joshua Chabbra and Dhruvin Bhasin got into a brawl over a female contestant to a level where the host Sunny Leone had to intervene. The fight went to the extent that Dhruvin called Joshua ‘a misogynist’.

The 25-year-old contestant Joshua, a model, and a self-proclaimed playboy was seen physically dragging the female contestant Kashish Ratnani in a previous episode, which she was fine with.

But Dhruvin, a content creator by profession got upset and couldn’t hold back from getting himself in a fight.

In the upcoming episode, Dhruvin brought up the topic and pointed out that Joshua unnecessarily threatened him and they both got into a physical fight which was stopped by other contestants.

In response to this, Sunny Leone intervened and said: “Dhruvin slow down, and zip your mouth. It is already clear that Kashish is fine with this. I might not be okay with it, Arjun’s wife might not be okay with it, and other girls might not be okay with it, but she’s okay. Kashish herself asked him to take her away.”

To everyone’s surprise, Dhruvin still couldn’t digest the actions and called out Joshua for his misogynistic behavior. ‘Splitsvilla X4’ airs on MTV.

World’s 1st successful donkey embryo created via IVF

0

The world’s first successful donkey embryo through in-vitro fertilization (IVF) has been created by a research team led by the University of Queensland, and the breakthrough could save dozens of endangered donkey species.

In collaboration with Argentine and Spanish researchers, UQ’s Dr. Andres Gambini created a viable donkey embryo using a specialist IVF process called “intracytoplasmic sperm injection” (ICSI), according to the research published in Theriogenology.

A world-first donkey embryo, which comes from a rare European breed, is being frozen in liquid nitrogen while researchers look for a suitable female donor for implantation.

“With this new tool to produce embryos in the laboratory, we can help to repopulate a species if we need to,” said Gambini.

“There are many problems associated with inbreeding when trying to increase a species’ population, but this IVF technique means we can essentially combine semen and eggs from donkeys with a different genetic background and create viable embryos,” he added.

Gambini says the donkey populations are more endangered than people realize.

“Seven of the 28 European domestic breeds are in critical status and 20 are endangered, while wild donkey species are also in trouble.

“The reasons for this include theft, illegal slaughtering, decreasing grazing land, and people using them less,” he added.

Gambini has previously worked on similar projects with horses and zebras.

“In 2020, we reported the first zebra embryo and now the first donkey embryo – who’s to say what’s next?” he said.

Further, he mentioned that donkey embryos were much more difficult to work with, with a success rate of five to 10 percent, compared to horses which are about 30 percent.

“We hope this research will lead to a more integrated donkey conservation program, also we hope to discover how to make IVF processes work for a wide range of endangered species,” Gambini added.

The world’s first embryo is being frozen in Spain, and it was created using donkey semen and eggs from all different areas of the country, said the research.

Varun Dhawan: ‘People apply spray on head to grow hair, I applied it on my ear’

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming movie ‘Bhediya’, recently opened up about his preparation to play a wolf in the film in an episode of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show.

Varun spoke about his transformation from a person to a Bhediya (Wolf) and how much time the process of makeup consumed.

He said: “For this role, I had been with an animal flow teacher for around 6 months. Too much hard work has gone into getting the physique right as the director (Amar Kaushik) didn’t want my body to be tight and asked me to cut down on the muscles. He had asked for a flexible body.”

Varun began his acting career with the 2012 film ‘Student Of The Year and later acted in films in ‘Main Tera Hero’, ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, ‘Dilwale’, ‘Judwaa 2’, ‘ABCD 2’ and many more.

The actor is currently traveling across the country to promote his film and recently he came on the sets of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show along with his co-stars Kriti Sanon, Abhishek Banerjee, Deepak Dobriyal, and director Amar Kaushik.

Recalling the shooting of the film, he added: “For a scene, I had to dash through a wall again and again as I was performing it with full energy and going through the wall. We did around 16 takes for this scene and at the end, the team had to put padding and fix it. Then when I performed the shot with the same energy I bounced back. That shot was the most challenging scene of my entire career.”

Furthermore, Kriti goes on to praise and share how before the film started Varun was instructed to grow hair on his entire body and one can see his hard work in the film.

Varun added jokingly: “People usually apply sprays on their head when they have a hair fall but I was applying it on my ear to grow hair.”

‘The Kapil Sharma Show airs on Sony Entertainment Television.

PKL 9: Haryana Steelers look to build on momentum as Paltan clash awaits

0

Manpreet Singh’s Haryana Steelers will look to continue their winning momentum in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 9 match against Puneri Paltan at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, here on Friday.

The previous encounter against Gujarat Giants saw Steelers registering a close win after raider Manjeet and Meetu performed brilliantly for the team.

Experienced campaigner K. Prapanjan has also contributed to the Steelers’ efforts this season, and is confident of a good performance on Saturday. “We changed a few strategies in the last match and it worked out in our favor. Our team started the game with a positive mentality which helped us to be on the winning side. Puneri Paltan is a good defensive unit and we have our strategies in place to win the match against them,” said Prapanjan.

The Steelers, having played out a tie against Puneri Paltan when they met earlier this season, will look to bring home all the points this time around.

“We will look to change some of the things we did in the previous match against Paltan. The players know all about the Pune side, they have a really good defense and our raiders will do everything to breach it. Our coach has made a new strategy and the players will follow it in the next match,” Prapanjan said.

Manjeet and Meetu have been performing really well this season and Prapanjan has also done his duty whenever he got the chance to play for the team.

“Our team has good raiders and the coach chooses a particular player as per the strengths and weaknesses of the opposition. In the last match, we thought that our players could exploit the right side of the opposition’s mat, so, Manjeet went for more raids than Meetu and myself,” said Prapanjan.

“In the match against UP Yoddhas, we figured out that we could attack their left side, so I went for more raids. We plan our strategy like that and no player is feeling any kind of pressure,” he concluded.

No harm in identifying new T20I captain; if his name is Hardik Pandya, so be it, says Ravi Shastri

0

Former India head coach Ravi Shastri feels there should be no harm in India looking at the prospect of appointing a T20I captain in order to change their fortunes in playing the shortest format of the game.

Currently, Rohit Sharma is the Indian skipper across all formats. But India is being led by Hardik Pandya for the T20I series against New Zealand while Shikhar Dhawan will take over as the skipper in the ODI series against the Blackcaps as selectors decided to rest Rohit and other senior players after the end of the T20 World Cup.

Pandya first captained India in a 2-0 away series victory over Ireland June this year, after he led the Gujarat Titans to IPL 2022 title in their first appearance of the tournament. He also led India in the fifth T20I against the West Indies at Lauderhill, USA, in August, where the visitors won by 88 runs to complete a 4-1 series triumph.

“For T20 cricket, there is no harm in having a new captain. Because the volume of cricket is such, that for one player to play all three formats of the game is never going to be easy. If Rohit is already leading in Tests and ODIs, there is no harm in identifying a new T20I captain and if his name is Hardik Pandya, so be it,” said Shastri in a virtual press conference organized by Prime Video ahead of the first T20I at Wellington.

Former India left-arm pacer Zaheer Khan felt that processes of having multiple captains in the side were already in place. “I think there are already multiple captains. When you are talking about T20 right now, you have Hardik leading the side, then you have Shikhar for ODIs. Rohit has been there and Virat had been there. You look at the playing eleven who have been a part of the T20 World Cup.”

“There were so many captains who were a part of the squad like Rishabh (Pant) has captained. All these players are more than capable. It’s just about the planning right now. Depending on the scheduling, planning and workload management, everyone has been seeing these changes. As we speak, these processes are already in place.”

Shastri felt that giving constant breaks to the Indian coaching staff led by head coach Rahul Dravid was not good, citing that the player-coach relationship will be affected. “I don’t believe in breaks. Because I want to understand my team, I want to understand my players and I want to then, be in control of that team. These breaks, what do you need that many breaks for, to be honest? You get your 2-3 months of the IPL, that’s enough for you to rest as a coach. But other times, I think a coach should be hands-on, whoever he is.”

Both Zaheer and Shastri were unanimous in backing young tearaway pacer Umran Malik to be a long-term prospect for the Indian team. Malik, who caught everyone’s attention with his high speeds in IPL 2021 and 2022, had debuted for India against Ireland and played three T20Is to date. With him being included in the T20I and ODI squads against New Zealand, it will give India much-needed variety in the bowling attack.

“That variety in your pace attack is a must and you have seen teams following that kind of pattern. You need a left-arm bowler, you need someone who can swing the ball, you need someone who is an out-and-out pace.”

“If everything is in one package, then even better but if not, you would like to use the variety in your bowling lineup and use different conditions well by approaching that way. Umran has been a very exciting talent, there is no doubt about it, and this kind of exposure at this level is definitely going to help him.”

“It is about how he takes up things forward and how quickly he learns at this stage is going to be very crucial if he wants to grab that spot in the playing eleven consistently and then cement his place,” elaborated Zaheer, a 2011 ODI World Cup winner.

Though many believe that Malik’s pace can be a serious asset for the Indian bowling attack, there is a school of thought which thinks that his raw pace needs time to be combined with consistency in line and length before being unleashed at the international level.

“Just adding to what Zaheer said, he is one of the fastest bowlers in India and you saw what happened in the World Cup where genuine pace rattled opposition, whether it was Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah from Pakistan, or Anrich Nortje playing for South Africa who became one of the highest wicket-takers in the tournament.”

“So, there is no substitute for genuine pace, even when you are defending small totals. So this is an opportunity for him. Hopefully, he will learn from this exposure,” concluded Shastri, a 1983 ODI World Cup winner.

India’s tour of New Zealand will be streamed live on Prime Video from Nov 18 to 30. The T20Is begin at 11 am on November 18, 20, and 22, while the ODIs start at 6 am on November 25, 27, and 30.

Controversy over Kamal Nath’s cake cutting, BJP accuses him of insulting Hindus

Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and senior Congress leader Kamal Nath is embroiled in a controversy as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has sharply criticized him for cutting a temple-shaped cake on his birthday, accusing him of insulting the sentiments of crores of Hindus in the country.

On Thursday, BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya shared the video of Nath cutting the cake and tweeted, “Former MP CM and senior Congress leader Kamalnath, runs a knife through a four-tiered, temple shaped cake, with a saffron flag and image of Lord Hanuman on top. During elections he had claimed to be Hanuman bhakt and is now insulting crores of Hindus by denigrating their deity.”

On Wednesday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan attacked Nath and the Congress for cutting such a cake and termed it as an insult to the Hindu religion and Sanatan tradition.

Chouhan, in a tweet, said that Congress workers had no devotion to God.

He added that the party also opposed the construction of the Ram Mandir and that society would not accept this insult.

The messaging platform started to work on this new feature for WhatsApp Desktop beta in October.

The report said that the company plans to introduce the feature on desktop and iOS beta to help group members better recognize other people in their groups.

Europe’s competition chief slams Musk for Blue with verification

0

Europe’s competition chief has said that Elon Musk’s idea for a subscription model to pay for Twitter’s sought-after blue with verification is “completely flawed”.

aceIf you have imposter accounts, of course, I think your business model is fundamentally flawed,” Margrethe Vestager, executive vice president of the European Commission, told CNBC on Wednesday.

“If you are to pay to be vetted and to be certified as being who you are and everyone can be you. I think that business model simply is completely flawed,” she added.

Twitter introduced its $8/month Blue subscription service, which allows users to access the platform’s coveted blue check, a tool formerly used to confirm the identities of journalists, lawmakers, and other public people.

Musk on Wednesday announced that the service would relaunch on November 29.

The feature was paused after a wave of users impersonated verified accounts.

Moreover, Musk has been urged by a number of European officials to abide by European laws, according to the report.

In order to combat disinformation and protect user privacy, the EU has recently strengthened its legal framework in recent years.

Vestager said the revised policy will make it easier to monitor Big Tech developments, including Musk’s changes at Twitter, but she denied that her team is on a collision course with the firm’s chief executive.

“We are never on a collision course with anyone because we consider ourselves a mountain,” she added.

Australian Open badminton: China’s Shi storms into men’s singles second round

China’s Shi Yuqi cruised into the second round of men’s singles by beating Kanta Tsuneyama from Japan 21-11, 21-18 on the second matchday of the Australian Open Badminton 2022.

Shi will next face his countryman Weng Hongyang, who outplayed New Zealand’s Ricky Cheng 21-11, 21-16 in the first round of the BWF World Tour Super 300 event.

Lu Guangzu defeated Indonesia’s Tommy Sugiarto 21-18, 21-17 and will play against top-seeded Malaysian shuttler Lee Zii Jia in the second round.
