It is the time for celebration for all Dhanush fans and the reason is the first look of Dhanush from Maari 2 is out. Director Balaji Mohan has revealed the first look poster on Twitter and captioned it as “The Naughtiest Don of our times is back”. In this poster, Dhanush poses in a naughty look and swings a Diwali firecracker. Loaded with the swag, Dhanush first look is an absolute eye catchy.
Talking more about Maari – 2, it is a sequel to 2015’s blockbuster film Maari, starring Dhanush and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles. The singer turned Actor Vijay Yesudas was played the villain role as a corrupt police. In Maari – 2, Dhanush is playing again the role of naughty don and Sai Pallavi is the lead lady to romance with Dhanush. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is also playing a key role in this movie. Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas will be seen in a negative role in this sequel and no other details revealed about his character.
The music for this movie was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and whereas the first part’s music was composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Dhanush and Anirudh Ravichander are good friends and it’s a surprise that why Dhanush has not taken Anirudh on board again to compose the music for the sequel too. We should have to wait to know the reason behind it to be revealed by Dhanush himself only.
Dhanush has united again with music director Yuvan Shankar Raj after a decade and Yaradi Nee Mohini (remake of Aadavari Maatalaku Ardhale Verule) is the last film of this union. Om Prakash is cranking the camera as the cinematographer and the movie is being produced by Dhanush under his own production banner Wunderbar Films. The film is ready to release in December and the date is not yet locked. There is no information about Maari – 2 Telugu version but this film get a simultaneous release in Telugu considering the craze of Sai Pallavi in Telugu film industry.

Venkatesh pic has been revealed as Coolie no 1 and Varun Tej’s pic as coolie no 786. This takes us a way back to Venkatesh’s superhit film Coolie no 1 and Mega Star’s superhit film Coolie no 786.T he gorgeous beauties Tamannah and Mehreen play the romantic interest of this duo in this film.
