Reports suggest the Nizam theatrical rights alone fetched ₹60 crores, while Andhra rights are valued at ₹70 crores, and Ceded region rights at ₹25 crores.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Peddi is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated releases of 2026. The teaser and promos have already skyrocketed expectations, with director Buchi Babu Sana putting his heart into crafting this rural sports drama.

In a recent update, Malayalam actress Swasika, known for her performance in Lubber Pandhu and her Tollywood debut with Nithiin’s Thammudu, revealed an interesting detail about Peddi. She was approached to play the role of Ram Charan’s mother in the film. However, Swasika turned down the offer, saying she wasn’t comfortable essaying a motherly role opposite Ram Charan.

Peddi boasts a star-studded ensemble, including Janhvi Kapoor, Shivaji Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu in key roles. Backed by Vriddhi Cinemas on a grand scale, the film is set for a massive worldwide release on March 27, 2026, with music composed by AR Rahman.
