Hyderabad-based technologist Rudra Rachana, in a heartwarming gesture of gratitude, met with IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) on Monday and donated Rs 1 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. This act of generosity was a way for her to express her thanks to Rama Rao for the financial support he extended to her in 2019.

Rudra Rachana, an orphan hailing from Thandriyala village in Jagtial district, moved to Hyderabad after completing her SSC exams. She resided in a state home at Yousufguda to pursue a polytechnic course.

When it came to her aspirations for higher education, Rachana faced financial challenges and began searching for a donor. Her predicament was brought to the attention of Minister Rama Rao through social media.

Responding to her plea, the minister provided assistance that enabled Rachana to secure a seat at CBIT (Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology). After completing her studies, she successfully found employment and started her career.
