The Redmi K20 and K20 Pro will rather be available on Flipkart following their launch in India on July 17. The K20 Pro will rather offer a Snapdragon 855 chip, while the K20 is indeed expected to be the most affordable phone with a Snapdragon 730 SoC. In other words, Redmi K20, K20 Pro launching in India on July 17 will turn out to be a unique affair.
The Redmi K20 Pro and K20 are among the most anticipated phones to be launched in India this month. Xiaomi has no doubt already confirmed that the Redmi K20 series will go official in the country on July 17, 2019. A microsite is involved in teasing the launch and thus confirming that the K20 and K20 Pro will be available on the e-commerce site. The regular Redmi K20 is will turn out to be the most affordable phone with a Snapdragon 730 chipset with a price rumored to be between Rs 18,000 – Rs 20,000, while the Redmi K20 Pro will also take up the mantle from Poco F1 as the new affordable flagship by offering a Snapdragon 855-powered phone in the sub-Rs 30,000 segment.

From a design perspective, both the Redmi K20 as well as K20 Pro highlights a nano-holographic technology that does offer a unique flamed texture on the rear curved glass panel. Both the phones sports 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED displays with 19.5:9 aspect ratios and a screen-to-body ratio of over 91 percent.
The Redmi K20 Pro is the flagship Redmi phone as it is of course powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor, while the regular Redmi K20 gets a Snapdragon 730 chipset coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, although it is unclear whether Xiaomi will be launching all RAM and storage options in India. The Redmi K20 Pro does offer an AI triple camera setup that does include a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor, a 13MP wide-angle camera, and an 8MP depth sensor. The pop-up selfie camera does house a 20MP sensor. The Redmi K20 does get a similar setup, except the 48MP primary camera, uses a Sony IMX582 sensor rather than the IMX586. People can expect much from Redmi K20, K20 Pro launching in India on July 17.
Both the Redmi K20 as well as K20 Pro features a 4,000mAh battery with support for 27W fast charging over Type-C port. Additionally, the K20 Pro also does come with hardware DC dimming support, 960fps slow-motion recording and P2i splash-proof coating.
The Redmi K20, in particular, will be launched a couple of days after the Realme X, which will turn out to be the closest competitor. The Realme X is set to go official in India on July 15 touting a notch-less AMOLED display, pop-up selfie camera, 48MP dual-camera setup, and a Snapdragon 710 chipset.
