Redmi has brought into the market the details about Redmi Note 8 series which are worth looking into by choosy consumers.
Redmi has confirmed that it would be launching the Redmi Note 8 series on August 29. The series that does include two smartphones — Redmi Note 8 and the Redmi Note 8 Pro – will also launch in China as of now. Ahead of this launch, the company has rather confirmed several details of the Redmi Note 8 and the Redmi Note 8 Pro. Last week, the company confirmed that the Redmi Note 8 Pro will come with Helio G90T chip from MediaTek and 64MP rear main camera. Now, the company does confirm some more key Redmi Note 8 details.
The Redmi Note 8 will turn out to be a much-upgraded version of the Redmi Note 7, according to what the company claims. At least on paper, the Redmi Note 8 will be quite powerful. The company has officially revealed that the Redmi Note 8 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor that also does power the recent launched Xiaomi Mi A3 Android One smartphone. The Redmi Note 7 does come with Snapdragon 660 processor.
Redmi also does confirm that the Redmi Note 8 will be coming along come with triple cameras on the rear panel. The company further does reveal some camera specs of the smartphone. It does confirm that the Redmi Note 8 will indeed come packed with a primary 48MP main camera, secondary Super Wide Angle, third will be a Depth of Field lens and lastly, the fourth one will be a Super Macro lens. Also, the Redmi Note 8 has been confirmed to come along with a 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. However, some rumors and leaks do suggest that the Redmi Note 8 will come bundled with a 10W charger inside the box.
Both the Redmi Note 8 and the Redmi Note 8 series are expected to include Dot drop notch on the front that will rather include the selfie shooter inside it and also increase the screen-to-body ratio. The Redmi Note 7 series of phones also do come with Dot drop notch. Some rumors and leaks also do suggest that the Redmi Note 8 series of phones will also be similar to the Redmi Note 7 series – come with Gorilla Glass 5 support.
Besides the specs, the price bracket of the Redmi Note 8 is also confirmed. The company has indeed confirmed that the Redmi Note 8 will be priced similar to the China price of the Redmi Note 7. The price of the Redmi Note 8 is said to be under 1000 Yuan or Rs 10,000. The Redmi Note 7 sells for Rs 9,999 in India. Redmi Note 8 details do confirm that it will impact the market.
