Salaar Movie
Indian Telugu-language epic action thriller film directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur. It stars Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles, along with Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju. Prabhas is reportedly portraying dual roles in this film.
The film was announced in December 2020, along with the title of the film. Principal photography commenced in January 2021 near Godavarikhani, Telangana. The music is composed by Ravi Basrur, while the cinematography and editing is done by Bhuvan Gowda and Ujwal Kulkarni.
The Censor Board has certified it to be a A (adults only) rated film. Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 22 December 2023.
A story of violent promise: Salaar revolves around a violent gangster named Aditya (played by Prabhas) who makes a life-altering promise to his dying friend.
Gang wars and power struggles: The promise involves taking on other powerful criminal gangs, setting the stage for intense action sequences and thrilling power struggles.
