The makers of the highly anticipated Pan-Indian action film “Salaar,” starring Prabhas and directed by Prashanth Neel, have requested the government of Telugu states to permit a ticket price hike for the film’s theatrical release.
With Salaar’s release just five weeks away, the makers are seeking an increase of ₹50-75 in ticket prices across both Telugu states for a ten-day period. Given the film’s significant production budget, the request is likely to be granted.
Salaar is expected to set new box office records, potentially surpassing all-time opening figures for blockbusters like RRR and Baahubali 2, provided the trailer is well-received. The trailer is currently in the final stages of editing.
Directed by KGF series director Prashanth Neel, Salaar features a star-studded cast, including Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Easwari Rao. Ravi Basrur is composing the film’s music.
