Samantha is busy with the Tamil movie Shoot

Prashanth Varma’ directorial venture Zombie Reddy, is slated to hit the theatres on 5th February. Prasanth Varma of Awe and Kalki fame attempts a satire on the common tropes of faction films. The film has Teja Sajja, Anandhi and Daksha Nagarkar in the lead roles. Recently Samantha announced that she is ready to work with Prashanth Varma if he comes with an exciting script.

Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Prashanth Varma has decided to come up with the sequel of Zombie Reddy. Soon Prashanth Varma will meet Samantha and narrate the script of Zombie Reddy sequel, if she gives her green light for this project, the official announcement regarding this project will be made.

We have already reported that Zombie Reddy unit had shot for 12 days before the lockdown and were among the first to begin filming soon after restrictions were lifted. Before Zombie Reddy, Prasanth Varma had another idea for a zombie film and had pitched it to Samantha Akkineni a couple of years ago and she also liked the script.

Meanwhile, Samantha is busy with the shoot of her next Tamil movie Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal under the direction of Vignesh Shivan which also has Vijay Sethupathi and lady superstar Nayantara. Very soon Samantha will join the sets of Shakuntalam which will be directed by Gunasekhar of Rudhramadevi fame.
