Yoga will be interactive on Samsung televisions.
Samsung has made an announcement about introducing an interactive yoga experience on its televisions, marking a global first in the industry. Through an exclusive partnership with Wellness Technologies, the creator of YogiFi, an AI-enabled yoga mat, its aims to provide consumers with a unique way to practice yoga using their smart TVs.
The YogiFi app will be accessible on various smart TV models, including Neo QLED 4K and 8K TVs, OLED TVs, and Crystal 4K UHD TVs. It will also be made available on previous years’ TV models. The collaboration between Samsung R&D Institute India-Delhi and YogiFi reflects the tech giant’s Make for India initiative.
By integrating the app into Samsung smart TVs, the companies hope to enhance the at-home yoga experience and promote a healthier community. The YogiFi app offers a range of yoga content, including three levels of 21-day programs designed for beginners, intermediate, and advanced practitioners. The AI-enabled mat equipped with sensors can detect incorrect postures and provide instant feedback to help users improve their alignment.
