Samsung will launch the Galaxy M30s in India on September 18 at 12 pm. The launch date was revealed on Amazon India alongside an image of the Galaxy M30s. Like every other Galaxy M-series phone launched so far, the Galaxy M30s will also be an online-exclusive product and will be available on Amazon following its launch. The listing also confirms past rumors that the Galaxy M30s will pack a massive 6,000mAh battery.
This will be the first Samsung smartphone to house a 6,000mAh battery capacity, promising a really long battery life for your multimedia needs. On Amazon, the company is teasing that the Galaxy M30s 6,000mAh battery will deliver hours of gaming and photography experience. Additionally, the Galaxy M30s will bring a new processor and a 48MP triple camera setup, among other things.
The Galaxy M30s will sport a Super AMOLED display as well. The size of the display hasn’t been revealed yet, but the phone has been listed on the Android Enterprise directory with a 6.4-inch display. The phone will sport an Infinity-U display with an FHD+ resolution.
As for the processor, Samsung is teasing a new chipset powering the Galaxy M30s. It may not be the Exynos 9610 SoC as previously rumored. In addition to a 6,000mAh battery, the 48MP triple camera setup will also be a major upgrade over the 13MP triple camera setup on the original Galaxy M30.
Samsung plans to launch a series of enhanced versions of its Galaxy A and Galaxy M series phones in the coming months. The company has already launched the Galaxy A10s in India with dual rear cameras and a fingerprint sensor. The Galaxy M30s looks to be a pretty major upgrade over the M30. The Galaxy M30s are expected to be priced similar to the M30, so we expect the phone to launch in India somewhere between Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000.
