In India, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 are now available for purchase
The highly anticipated ‘make in India’ models, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5, have officially gone on sale in India. The launch follows a strong demand for these foldable devices within the country, with more than 100,000 consumers pre-booking them in the initial 28 hours, as reported by the company.
Starting Friday, both the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 will be accessible through various retail outlets and online platforms such as Samsung.com, Amazon, and Flipkart, according to a statement from Samsung.
The Galaxy Z Flip5 is priced at Rs 99,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant, and Rs 109,999 for the 8GB+512GB model. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold5’s 12GB+256GB version comes at Rs 154,999, the 12GB+512GB variant at Rs 164,999, and the 12GB+1TB model at Rs 184,999.
In comparison to the previous generation foldable devices, they observed a 1.7 times increase in pre-bookings for the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 models, demonstrating the heightened enthusiasm for these innovative offerings from the South Korean tech giant.
