Samsung Unveils 8th Edition of Nationwide Campus Program for Indian Students:
On Tuesday, Samsung India launched the eighth edition of its nationwide campus program known as “Samsung E.D.G.E,” inviting students from prestigious institutions across the country to address real-world problem statements.
Participation in the program will come from 35 campuses, including leading business schools, engineering colleges, and design schools, with activities taking place on these campuses. Sameer Wadhawan, Head of Human Resources at Samsung India, expressed confidence that the emerging talent engaged in this initiative will develop insightful solutions to address business challenges.
The program will consist of three rounds, with the initial round focusing on ideation. Teams will collaborate and create an executive case summary based on extensive research and analysis.
Following the campus round, 45 select teams will advance to the regional round, where they will dive into the case study, presenting comprehensive solutions.
After the conclusion of the regional round, the top 10 teams will receive mentorship from Samsung leaders for their respective solutions. These final 10 teams will then compete in a National Round, with the top three teams declared as winners.
Each team will comprise a maximum of three students from various specializations, showcasing their unique solutions that demonstrate cutting-edge innovation and leadership abilities.
In 2022, a total of 2,620 teams from across India participated in the program, presenting their innovative solutions.
