Second Phase of 2BHK House Distribution Selects 11,700 Beneficiaries
In the second phase of 2BHK house distribution within the GHMC limits, approximately 11,700 beneficiaries were chosen through a lottery system on Friday.
This online draw, held at the Hyderabad district collectorate, was attended by ministers Mahmood Ali, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, and Sabitha Indra Reddy, along with GHMC commissioner Ronald Rose, The individuals present at the event included Anudeep Durishetti, the collector of Hyderabad district, Harish, the collector of RR district, and Amoy Kumar, the collector of Medchal district.
Yadav mentioned that the reservation process for the second phase distribution included 470 beneficiaries from SCs, 1,923 from SCs, 655 from STs, and 8,652 from other categories. He emphasized that the allocation process was conducted transparently without any external influence.
Durishetti explained that beneficiary selection occurred in the presence of public representatives, utilizing randomization software in collaboration with NIC, in accordance with the state government’s guidelines. This approach ensured that there was no room for manipulation throughout the process.
