Superstar Rajinikanth is no alien to the Indian audience. Neither his style nor mannerisms. The superstar of Indian Cinema is currently shooting for his upcoming film 2.0, under the direction of Shankar. Prior to 2.0’s release, Thalaiva fans will get to see their superstar as ‘Kaala’. The movie posters already raised the expectations. The reason teaser warned of yet-another tsunami like Kabali.
In one of the posters of the film Kaala, Rajinikanth is seen patting a dog. When enquired about the dog, few interesting things came out. Just like everything has turned gold on Midas’ touch, even the dog in the film is now more precious than gold, with Rajinikanth’s touch.
Reportedly, many people came forward to buy the dog at astronomical prices. Few individuals even offered to pay to the tune of Rs 2 Cr – Rs 3 Cr for the dog. But director Pa Ranjith denied, stating that, he raised the dog like his own child.
Pa Ranjith and his team found the dog on one of the Chennai streets as a part of their search. Out of many dogs, the director has finally chosen this ‘special’ dog. Surprisingly, the director confessed that even Rajinikanth liked the dog very much, and used to bring special dog biscuits to the sets. No wonder he is Thalaiva! Hope he touches us once in life!
