Kollywood superstar Suriya is all set to entertain fans with a strong lineup of films. His next movie, Retro, directed by Karthik Subbaraj and co-starring Pooja Hegde, is scheduled for a grand release on May 1, 2025. With its mix of action and romance, Retro is generating solid buzz.
Following Retro, Suriya next movie will be a yet-to-be-titled film with RJ Balaji. The actor is also teaming up with acclaimed director Vetrimaaran for the long-awaited project Vaadivaasal.
Though Vaadivaasal has faced several delays, recent updates from producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu confirm that the team is eyeing a Summer 2026 release, likely in May or June. The film is based on the traditional Tamil sport Jallikattu and will feature advanced animatronic technology to depict the bulls.
Music composer GV Prakash Kumar has already completed recording one song for the film, and Suriya has allotted dates for the shoot, which begins later this year. Fans can expect a culturally rich and emotionally charged experience with Vaadivaasal.
