Sushma Swaraj defends India’s ties with NK with US counterpart!
India’s Foreign Minister, Sushma Swaraj has strongly defended India’s diplomatic ties and trade relations with North Korea, during her talks with Rex Tillerson, Secretary of State, USA. Both the leaders held talks for the development and progress of international trade and democratic relations between two nations.
It’s learned that Rex did raise concerns about India’s steady ties with North Korea. It is known that a tense situation is prevailing between the US and North Korea which could well lead to a military intervention any time. Sushma did explain the nation’s stance, stating it’s vital to have some channels of communication open at all times at all places. ‘We have a very small embassy in North Korea, but we still have an embassy’ said Sushma Swaraj.
Rex Tillerson arrived in India, after having a 4-hour short stay in Pakistan. Donald Trump’s administration has sent Rex Tillerson to South Asia, in order to primarily develop deep economic and military ties with India, in order to equate China’s insistent posture in the Asian Continent. Both the diplomats pledged to work together, and co-operate at all levels in the fight against terrorism and militant activities. Rex Tillerson also articulated that, The United States is doing to its best of its ability and urged Pakistan to act against terrorist groups that are dwelling in its land.
