After the massive pan-India success of HanuMan, Teja Sajja is back with another ambitious project — Mirai, a fantasy action-adventure directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni. The recently released trailer has taken audiences by surprise, setting expectations sky-high ahead of its release on September 12, 2025.
When asked about being called a pan-India hero, Teja humbly responded, “They’re calling me that, but I don’t really see it that way. I make films primarily for Telugu audiences. If they connect with other regions as well, that’s a bonus and makes me very happy.”
Interestingly, Teja had signed Mirai even before HanuMan became a blockbuster. He revealed that he would still choose the project today, calling it a “fantastic script” and expressing his wish to work with director Karthik again in the future.
The actor praised his producer, Vishwa Prasa, and his stellar co-stars — Manoj Manchu, Shriya Saran, and Jagapathi Babu — who bring depth to the story. Speaking about the film, Teja explained, “Mirai has multiple layers — from Ashoka and mysterious books to a hero’s adventurous journey to protect them. At its core, though, it’s about a son who goes to any length to fulfill his mother’s wish.”
Promising to be a clean family entertainer, Mirai blends fantasy, action, adventure, devotion, and emotion into a complete commercial package. With its trailer already receiving a strong response across different languages, the film is shaping up to be one of the most-awaited pan-India releases this year.
