Yash’s much-awaited film Toxic is gearing up for its theatrical release on August 26, 2026, with the Telugu pre-release event in Hyderabad attracting a massive crowd of fans and students. However, the celebrations were disrupted by an unfortunate incident at Malla Reddy University.

According to reports, a structure at the venue collapsed after some students reportedly climbed onto it to get a better view of the event. The incident resulted in injuries to four people. The injured individuals were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, with one student reportedly sustaining a leg injury.

Yash, who was addressing the gathering at the time, was informed about the incident and paused his speech. He urged everyone at the venue to remain calm and prioritize their safety.

Following the mishap, the police reportedly registered a case against the management of Malla Reddy University. In a significant development, the Toxic movie unit has also reportedly been named in the case, bringing further attention to the safety arrangements made for the event.
