The Telangana High Court on Monday will be hearing the petition filed the encounter of four accused who raped and killed the 26-year-old veterinary doctor.
On Friday, the court directed to preserve the bodies of the accused till 8 pm on December 9 after a receiving a representation requesting judicial intervention in it. All the four accused were encountered by the police on November 6 at Chatanpalli when recreating the crime scene under the culvert where the charred remains of Disha were found.
The police recovered Disha’s watch, phone and other things from the spot which the accused concealed. While the police termed the shooting as a ‘retaliation’ after the accused hit the police with stones to escape from the scene. Two policemen are said to have injured in the attack.
