Such hero has turned into a character artist with the flick S/o Satyamurthy, thanks to the maker Trivikram. Now the successful director Anil Ravipudi who stepped up on the foxtail and got a chance to direct Superstar Mahesh Babu has approached this actor for a meaty role. Unfortunately, Upendra turned the offer down explaining his Political commitments. This hero of Raktha Kanneeru stated that he is even delaying his own flick I Love You for the sake of serving people and all of his time is now allocated to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka. Already the talented actress Sai Pallavi rejected the female lead character and now Anil is replacing her with Rashmika Mandanna. But to replace Upendra, there are no ideal actors who match with the craze of this unique hero.
Sources close to Anil suggest that the lady superstar Vijayashanthi might be seen in a crucial role in this flick. Currently, Mahesh is working for Maharshi and after releasing of this flick, he will start working for the regular shooting of Anil Ravipudi’s family entertainer.
