Ustaad Bhagat Singh Now on Netflix, Faces Fresh Criticism!

Date:

Pawan Kalyan’s film Ustaad Bhagat Singh released in theaters on March 19, 2026, and failed to impress audiences at the box office. Directed by Harish Shankar, it clashed with another film, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, and underperformed. Despite this, the director called it his best work and promoted it as a success.

The film is now streaming on Netflix in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, giving it a much wider audience across India.

However, a bigger audience also means more opinions. Since the film did not do well in theaters, it is likely to face stronger criticism from new viewers watching it for the first time on OTT.

Harish Shankar had earlier lashed out at people who gave negative reviews during the theatrical run. But recently, at a public event, he admitted that the film did not perform as expected — a big change from his earlier stance.

Now, with social media reactions pouring in, all eyes are on how the director responds to the fresh wave of criticism this time.
