The AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the capital of Telangana worked wonders for the Telangana Congress. More than anyone, the TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy now stands tall among all the T-Congress biggies.
Uttam Kumar Reddy used to be very frustrated with the leaders of his party in the Telangana States. Be it the defections of leaders or the lack of unity within the party, Uttam counted stars to keep all the leaders intact. To his already existing insecurity, ignoring the TPCC leaders for Congress Working Committee nearly pushed the Chief into depression but he somehow managed to run the party. When his High Command announced Rahul’s visit, Reddy tried his best to arrange his meeting in OU but ended up as a Public meeting.
However, he beat the odds of his party leaders and made Rahul’s visit a grand success. Uttam’s organizational skills and the way he ran the meeting flawlessly won accolades from his supporters. More than anything, he successfully made it sure that Rahul’s mudslinging programme on KCR’s family gets the maximum coverage in media channels. Not just the meeting, Uttam arranged meetings between Rahul and industrialists including Nara Brahmani for some possible tie-ups and fundings for the party’s expenses.
All these made Uttam an instant hero and he is said to have done just for his Chief post of TPCC. Now he is considered as the numero uno leader who pushed the so-called big leaders like Jana Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, V Hanumantha Rao and others below him. This all-new Uttam 2.0 is currently busy writing strategies to counter TRS and win as many seats as possible to dethrone KCR.
