Mahesh Babu’s Varanasi remains one of the most eagerly awaited Indian films currently under production. As fans look forward to a major update ahead of the superstar’s birthday, another alleged video from the film’s sets has surfaced online and quickly attracted attention on social media.
A behind-the-scenes clip, reportedly lasting around 25 seconds, went viral across several digital platforms. Although the makers reportedly initiated copyright action and attempted to remove the video, it had already been widely circulated by that time.
The latest incident has once again sparked concerns among fans regarding security on the film’s sets. Many have urged the production team to strengthen preventive measures and avoid further leaks. Nevertheless, the excitement surrounding the project remains strong, with fans hoping that the makers will unveil an official update as a birthday surprise for Mahesh Babu.
Meanwhile, a new shooting schedule is reportedly set to begin at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Directed by S.S. Rajamouli, the globe-trotting action adventure also features Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in prominent roles.
The film is produced by K.L. Narayana, with S.S. Karthikeya associated with the project. M.M. Keeravaani is composing the music. Varanasi is currently scheduled for a grand theatrical release on April 7, 2027.
